We’re on the hunt for our next UX/UI Designer for an initial 6 month contract with a strong possibility of extensions.

We are looking for a remote (or hybrid if based in Brisbane) UX/UI Designer that can join our mobile application team.

In this role, you'll be:

• Investigating and defining user experience design requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interface designs.
• Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
• Maintaining design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across features.
• Providing expert advice and support on standards and processes.
• Involved in the full end-to-end design process for mobile apps (both Android and iOS).

You will have:

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your work with mobile apps.
• Experience designing applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Ability to leverage native components based on HIG and MD.
• Proficiency in Figma (must) and Adobe XD (desired).
• Experience with Zeplin.
• A good understanding of technical requirements and limitations of mobile applications.
• Understanding of user-centred design principles, usability, accessibility, and user research methodologies.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and the ability to work within an iterative design cycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, and update a design system.
